Description

Deamon is a Brutal DM band native of  Ottawa. Exactly what Brutal DM should be. They should be the ones setting an example for all those ridiculous bands who over-brutalize thier music with pitch-shifted-vocals and extremely low, down-tuned guitars.

Deamon really deserve to be known in the Canadian DM scene. I mean, like I can’t emphasize on how much these guys just absolutely rip. Their form of Brutal DM is actually fun and entertaining, it is something I can sit down and listen through the entire album, and not be turned off after three songs.

I will first start off with the guitars. Cory and Ron do an amazing job on this album. The guitars are quick, witty and they change non-stop. Cory’s fretwork is amazing. Cory is an amazing guitarist. Just listen to his solos. I mean this guy can shred like hell. And the riffs are always different. They never cease changing. The vocals are guttural, but not ridiculous like (insert absurd band here) and you can make out what Cory growls. You can hear the bass somewhat, however this is the whole problem with extreme music: from time and time again, the bass in unclear. However at some points you can hear it, which is good. The drums are very good on this album. A lot of thrashing and grinding. Shawn finds himself most of the time blasting and beating his way through the songs.

I must say if you consider yourself a true hardcore fan of Brutal DM or just Canadian DM in general, then pick this album up. I garantee you will not be disapointed.
